Tanqueray 10 is Tanqueray’s response to the growth of the premium gin market. Released in 2000 and named after the number of the still (No.10) in which it is made, also affectionately known as “Tiny Ten”.
The fresh taste of this gin is achieved by using fresh whole fruits such as White Grapefruit from Florida and Whole Limes from Mexico. It is a “hand-crafted” gin which uses a quadruple distillation process and has strong, full-bodied notes of grapefruit.
This gin has won numerous awards; most notably it has won “Best White Spirit” three times in a row at the SFWSC leading to the creation of the hall of fame.
Even though this gin is bottled at 47.3%ABV it is considered one of the best and smoothest on the market and perfect for mixing in cocktails due to its floral notes and surprisingly smooth finish on the palate.
The company also produces a zestier style of Tanqueray called “Tanqueray Rangpur” using Rangpur Limes.
Juniper, Whole Oranges, Whole Limes, Whole White Grapefruit, Coriander, Angelica Seed, Liquorice and Chamomile Flowers.
